What did your transition from AE to editor look like?
5 months ago I joined an advertising post house as a full-time AE. Through the support of a lead editor at the company I found my way into making cuts for the company’s most prestigious client. At this point, I’ve been the sole editor of one global campaign and a co-editor of another, in addition to cutting many social media videos. It’s only 5 months but I can’t help feel that my title doesn’t reflect the work I actually do.

Need some advice on how to handle a male colleague of mine. He’s also a manager and I work with him on the same project, of which I’m the engagement manager. He is more experienced than I am but horrible at project management. I feel that I need to manage him as I would a consultant, but he doesn’t seem to take me seriously. He hasn’t made any deadline yet and doesn’t communicate with me. How do I handle this, as he’s a peer of mine? Already have daily check-ins with the team and partner present

A new hire was brought onto my project. I'm responsible for training this person but they have very limited knowledge in SQL and no Tableau or Python experience. They don't have an understanding of relational databases and poor attention to detail. All of these skills are required to do the job. They keep making basic mistakes. I believe they lyed on their resume. At what point is teaching this individual the fundamentals too much? Has anyone been in this situation before?

Hi there - my company is returning to office next month. Hybrid to begin before they ramp up to 5 days back in office by end of year.
I think the fact they want to bring us back 5 days is disrespectful considering how much work we’ve put in remotely over the last year. Not to mention productivity studies say people who WFH (and have no kids) are substantially more productive.

My HR has just called me to let me know my LWD but apart from that no document or mail to confirm my lwd. Can anyone tell me what is the process? EY Partners: is it still worth becoming a partner at EY Advisory considering the split?
