What the promotion cycle in Deloitte? My joining date is on January. Am I eligible for promotion in next year? Can we consider first 1 year as probation period?
Best books about product management for a good exit to industry? I already have an MBA and PMP but looking for a refreshed perspective since it’s been years since my formal education. Currently reading “Product Managements Sacred Seven” but it’s geared toward the startup world. I am in healthcare and not looking for a startup role. TIA!!!
Any advice on how to ask for a raise and promotion? I’m approaching the 2 year mark at my company and wanted to make the next leap.
Please help! Just got promoted to be a Tax manager. I’m really exhausted and thinking about leaving public accounting. It’s killing my marriage and health. Lost a lot of hair. I have experience in inbound and outbound high net worth individuals. What are my options if I leave public accounting? Family office? What else?
Hey all. Considering trying out Talkspace or Betterhelp, could anyone share experiences with them? Also does insurance cover part of these?

Need some advice: For context I’m an engineering student - I’ve gotten a role as a business analyst for a health tech startup that just raised their series A (10M) and is rapidly scaling. They brought me on part time until I finish up school in the spring. I negotiated to begin my vesting schedule now and I absolutely love the company and product-only problem is that I am losing all motivation for school…especially since it’s engineering. I’m going to finish-but how do I make it easier to balance

My wife sells insurance so I am sure she views me as a customer but I am curious how much life insurance you 30 and 40 somethings have out on yourself?
Anyone know of a good Actuary bowl? I haven’t been able to find any existing (and active) one, but it would be great to start one if there’s enough interest. Ideally splitting Life&Health from Casualty, but even combined would be better than nothing. KPMG EY Aon AIG Mercer PwC Willis Towers Watson Oliver Wyman Deloitte Milliman Accenture Buck

I just got offered to switch teams at my company, which would mean moving to an AE (one level jump). We haven’t discussed salary yet - what are AEs making on here/how much experience do you have? TY!
Expecting a baby this summer. Should I still be looking for other job opportunities? EY has a very generous paternity leave if you’ve been with the firm for 1+ years, but not sure if I would have the same opportunity to take 2-3 months leave if I switch jobs. Can I potentially work parental leave into negotiations?
Currently not compensated fairly within firm despite having more tech skill/PMO experience than peers but at significantly less pay than firm and market average. I am unable to request for a salary evaluation, and when trying to apply externally for opportunities, I “do not have enough years of experience” to qualify for roles I want. What should I do, what next steps should I take?
Due to social distancing rules, when the kids come into school in the morning, they have to immediately report to their classrooms. I get it, but I also don't have time to entertain them as I'm prepping for class. What can I do to keep them busy?

Hi everyone- I recently accepted an offer to join MBB in June/July. I just found out I am pregnant ... I am worried about taking maternity leave shortly after joining.. anyone else have similar experience? Another concern is that I don’t have prior consulting experience (have a MBA) and worried about being able to perform as a consultant during/after pregnancy. My husband is thrilled but to be honest I’m not excited about this pregnancy :(
