Has anyone succeeded in securing a role in another country that would be open to connecting? How do you frame to recruiters a career gap to relocate?
I have a question - why do some hiring managers require a sample project, even from candidates with 10 years of experience in that particular vertical and a portfolio?
For folks who worked/lived in a foreign country, why did you leave your country? What are the benefits of working globally career-wise? Would you recommend doing it to a consultant at the early stage of his/her career?

Just got an offer. $150k financial reporting manager with discretionary bonus but they can’t be specific and tell me what it is. All they say is that it depends on performance. Would you take it?

Little so clients know consultants are in PJs on Fridays and shower mid day #livingthedream #wfh
Are you incoming staff 1? What’s your starting salary for your city and service line? I’m really skeptical that firms will be paying those of us that progressed less than incoming staff just out of my own experience where I came in as staff 1 earning more than the staff 2 when I started for the same service line.
Assuming you are smart enough to do both (I know big assumption), are you better off being a SWE/data scientist at FAANG or equivalent level at MBB (based on YOE) from a compensation:WLB ratio?
Tips for lateral negotiation? Does the recruiter typically do it for you or are you expected to negotiate on your own. Not trying to negotiate salary (market) but other things.
Hi European 🐠 My company is currently looking for IT architects and tech consultants (any level). We’re a boutique with a amazing team culture and really very interesting projects, great learning opportunities (aka we don’t get hired to take over tasks no one wants to do, we get hired to make a difference) + above average comp. Relocation is not necessary, as long as you’re in CET time zone and live close to an airport. DM me for more information! Cheers
I’m looking to pivot to a customer success or engagement role but I don’t have a lot of client facing experience. Any tips? I’ve applied to a few places recently, but I’m still waiting to hear back.
Currently a first year consultant doing data modeling with a BI tool (some SQL, Python) and leading a team of 4. I’m thinking about applying for FAANG for a cross functional role. Should I wait until I make Manager (in 2 years) and make a jump? Or should I jump as a C? Do they require a lot of technical knowledge?
Recently received the offer letter from Nagarro. In the salary structure, i came across two components like gratuity like some 20k per annum and allocation bonus which is variable 9.5% of my fixed. I have 3 questions, Will I get the total variable amount in Nagarro or not.? What is the gratuity component and will they pay all or not. Will they be any joining bonus in Nagarro?

Received an offer from Deloitte in NYC as a Advisory Tech Assurance Senior Consultant. They are offering 100k base plus 10k signing bonus. Is this on par with what most are offered for this location and position?
Looking into applying to a sport tech accelerator: still in the idea generation phase but missing a coder. Anybody with passion for sport & experience in coding (+ interest/time for a side project)?
I'm 34 and a Manager 2. My wife and I live with two kids on Long Island. My Uncle is a Princeton Review GMAT instructor and has offered to tutor me for free. Is an MBA even worth my time? (cont.)
Random question but can someone detect if you use a local screen recording tool to record a zoom call?
Folks who moved from MBB to a top-tier tech firm (E.g. FAANG): how does the talent compare between the two?
Has anyone heard anything about the full time MBA program at UF? I simply want a respectable degree to work in industry in Florida after b4 tech consulting - appreciate any insight

McKinsey & Company currently consulting and I’m looking at an internal/non-consulting manager role there. Anyone know comp ranges?
Anyone know compensation progression at Google S&O? Assume joining after 2 years consulting post undergrad.
Anyone know what kind of experience or certifications I should be aiming to get if I'm trying to break into a pentest role? I just graduated last year and have about a year of sysadmin experience and am trying to get into it asap. So, I'm already applying/job hunting and probably won't get much replies but. Should I be looking at more security analyst/admin roles first? Going for certs? Getting a masters? Wondering what I can do to improve my chances. TIA
Been getting more and more messages from recruiters on LinkedIn. Is it fair to ask for the salary? Kinda don’t wanna waste my time with a phone call or further steps if it doesn’t meet my expectations.
Does TCS transfer H1B from other company in India. I have h1b with 3 years remaining on 6 years cap.
Well the good news is that my manager said it would be done by Monday morning to the client. The bad news is that he sent that email to the client at 7pm Friday and never texted me. Wait both are bad.
At what point did y’all let work know about pregnancy? Up for promotion this year want to get that promo which I’m cutting it close with yearly review.
A s& recruiter mentioned I would come in as a “third year senior associate” - what does that mean for comp/my placement in the hierarchy? For reference I’m at the post-mba-hire level at my current firm.
