I get it that there are a lot of annoying parts of our job. But am I crazy to think the positives far outweigh them? I'm an experienced hire and I am in constant disbelief at the pay and benefits...
Does anyone know how to get funds that was in a 401k account years ago into your current IRA?
Hi there, I have worked in healthcare for nearly 10 years, mostly scheduling patients and procedures, with 2 years experience in Credentialing, compliance and privileging. I am feeling pretty burntout due to also dealing with autistic burntout. Any suggestions on other jobs possibly not in the medical field that would translate well?
Quick question about 401k investments. I’m 31 and have previously put all investments into a 2055 target date fund. After seeing posts on here, I’d like to start putting some (or all?) into FXAIX. My question is, should I also exchange some or all of my current investments in the target date fund into FXAIX (or another fund - open to ideas) as well or just leave what I’ve already invested and start now?
Hi! I received written offer today of a promotion into Private Banking from Retail Banking. What are some things to consider when negotiating compensation and benefits? Can I ask for company stock?
What's maternity leave coverage like at your agency? We get 12 weeks paid but you've gotta dip significantly into your PTO to make it work.
22 years old. I have $22k in an index fund, 12k in savings/emergency fund, and 2k in 401K. No debt. Interested in buying a rental property in 5ish years. Any one have tips or advice? Play around with single stocks? ETFs? CDs? Or just keep dumping most of my money into the index fund and a little into savings?
I've got an interview at Amazon (specifically AWS) for a non-technical position this week. Is AWS as bad as they say it is, even for non-engineers? 😅 Also, I never realized how mediocre AMZ's benefits are...what are some of the reasons (besides RSUs) that would make anyone work there over other tech companies???
I’m a fresh graduate from my MBA program and just got hired for a digital marketing analyst role. The job pays $65k + company EBITA bonus + department revenue bonus. Just wanna know if I’m getting paid fairly in Las Vegas area. I am a full time employee so I get all the benefits and stuff. Seeking advice and second opinions on this.
Sorry for a little rant here but I am all about progress, I just can't really get behind Instagram favoring reels only now, and the TikTok explosion. It's too homogenous. We used to have distinct social platforms. I think diversity of content is important and serves different creative benefits. What do you all think? Kind miss the old days of social! Not gonna lie
Anyone switch jobs to get a better maternity leave policy? My current job only offers 6 weeks of paid maternity leave and I want the luxury of being able to stay home for 6 months to a year. Not sure if I'm missing something but curious why females stay at jobs with bad maternity leave policies if they're planning on getting pregnant.
First year associate working at a Plaintiff’s firm with 2 other attorneys (partners). I was offered $50k salary with “opportunity for bonuses” but given no bonus structure or schedule. Benefits are not great - only health, no vision or dental. I feel like I’m being under-compensated. Any advice on how to address this with the partners without sounding entitled as a first year associate?
Hi Fishes. Can anyone working at Dell Technologies share if there are any visible difference in perks and benefits for band I8 vs I7? And also on an average what percentage of yearly hike and bonus an average performer can expect?
Looking to lateral 2 years post-MBA. Have strong healthcare background. Who’s hiring and can anyone refer? Thanks!
Struggling to ask for a raise. I asked for one last Oct when I was approached by another agency that offered way more $$ Turned it down bc I did not want to work on that specific client. Told my director about it and my agency gave me a very measly raise. Now I am about to help lead our team while our director goes on maternity leave, workload is through the roof, and we are onboarding new hires. How do I ask for the raise I deserve?
I rejected a startup a few months ago for a big TMT company but thought I made a big mistake since my current role was a huge discrepancy than what I was told. I reached out to the old hiring manager, went through interviews, got an offer but it’s lower than my original offer. Startup got acquired so I was actually hoping to ask for more $$ since my current job pays more & is more stable. Current job is better brand, $$ (40k more), benefits, stability but my role sucks. What do I do?
What are healthcare/tech exit opportunities for big 4 healthcare Advisory? If anyone from KPMG made the jump please chime in

Maybe we should implement something like automatic posts refresh? I got a notification about "someone like mypost" but it isn't displaying at the post title...

What is the longest you been in the bench?
My uber wrecked last night. My driver was at a traffic light, put the car in reverse to try and get in the next lane, forget she was in reverse and floored it into guy behind us. Awkward
Re: Facebook strategy vs fake news. Thoughts?
Any ivy league grads in big4?
What does digital do? People talk about how digital, strategy, and management consulting are the best places to be in consulting. What exactly does a digital practice do, if not actual development?
