No. I'd tell them to pursue their passion and. Not push them towards any specific industry

Depends on their personality. I have 4 kids and only 1 would be good at this.

Can't wait for my sons to join me. One a college junior has interned here the last two summers. Our 16 year old does our shredding, researches and buys his own stocks and helps at client events.

Yes

My managing partner said of Camille Vasquez (Depp/Heard trial atty) that she was a terrible lawyer. He said he hated watching her. I don’t have as many years experience as a trial attorney so I don’t understand his comment. Was she horrible, and how? Or was she deserving of the social media praise?

If you work at a small agency in NYC, could you tell me what your monthly health insurance premiums are for families? I'm at a small agency in NYC and the health benefits for a family are almost prohibitively expensive, ~1,500/mo with a high deductible. Would love to know if we're competitive or not and if not, share that info with our HR and bosses.

I'm drowning in one-off business logic or planning requests ever since the last shuffle of devs. I'm the most senior, and def know the most, but on a team where our devs wear many hats, it means that I don't get to code nearly as much as I want to.

I also feel like these one-off requests do nothing for my career, as they're not seen as valuable to anyone other than the requesters.

Has anyone been in this position? What do I do to combat this?
