Interviewed by Boeing chennai. Got selected. Sent documents for offer. Initial stage of interview we spoke about budget and agreed. After 3 weeks, so many remainder calls and mails, finally they have responded like budget is problem and we are dropping your candidature. If they are not fine with budget, initial stage itself they could drop. But time wasted.

Gave interview for EY GDS M level. The interviewer paused the meeting in between and called one of his team members to take interview. The other team member took my interview on first person's laptop. First person was eating kurkure sitting behind. Both were from Gurgaon. Pathetic experience. EY
Hi Guys,
Anyone here from RPA domain who can refer me directly to their manager/HR?
I see a lot of openings on Linkedin but after applying the status of those applications never proceeds from 'Under Review'.
If someone can directly refer in their project, it will help.
TIA :)

This is not odd and in fact is the smart thing to do. You want to understand this person’s career path, tenure at the company, their title and responsibilities, be able to ask better questions of them
Overthinking. LinkedIn is a platform for professionals looking to network and learn more about companies, roles, etc. The interviewee probably wanted to do some research on you in hopes of using it as a talking point in the interview.
I think of candidates favorably when they do this. It shows they spent time preparing for the interview and researching at least me and likely the company as well. These candidates tend to come in with better, more specific questions about the role and what I’m looking for as a manager.
Agreed
No. Also change your search settings to private if you’re worried about this. Then they won’t know. Good luck on the interview!
Thank you— for the luck and the tip!
As an interviewer, you pretty much expect people to look you up on LinkedIn, but try and do it a couple of days before the interview, rather than be a last-minute Larry! Also, do some research on the firm you are applying to. Always shocks me when an interviewee hasn't bothered to do basic research - seems a bit rude!

You absolutely should do this. You can also change your own privacy settings so it doesn’t tell anyone whose profile you are viewing.
No, I would be unpleasantly surprised if they didn’t. Shows their curiosity, ability to research and be proactive.
Not odd at all!
Not at all! I’ve done it myself and think that most people would appreciate it because it shows you are doing your research. Good luck!
Looking up is fine but don’t try to connect with the person until AFTER you’ve met
No -- I wouldn't think it odd. I think it's just someone trying to be well prepared. Type A personality.
No, this is quite common. It's likely they are trying to prepare for the interview.
I know a hiring manager who would rule out candidates who didn’t look him up before the interview!
