How do you combat “mean girl” syndrome? Ive find this more vast in the PR landscape than when I’ve produced in advertising… I feel I’ve been targeted, but need some help navigating because I’m considered a leader here. I’ve been getting eye rolls, some catty behavior, and weird dead air. Has anyone here been able to work through it and get past it?

Put in my two week notice at my agency today and feel the most at peace i have felt in so long. Even though I haven’t been with the agency for a year I have no regrets and know I made the right decision for my mental health.

I made the switch from marketing to PR this year. I basically went from having 15 years of experience to being a newbie in a different subject matter. I miss creative development for ads/web/video, having more tactics to integrate into strategies, and the leadership opportunities I had managing junior team members. I don’t miss 50+ work weeks and measuring success from my stress level. I like my team, but I feel underutilized. Should I sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride for a few years?
