Efficient & effective ways to consume content

After 10 yrs in the industry, I have no problem finding quality work-related content. But with 2 young kids and a demanding job, I feel like I have no time to consume it. I tried blocking 1 hr in the morning but would mostly skip it to dive into work. I cram in podcasts while I exercise but it often feels like a long listen to get to anything insightful. Any practical tips/tricks/ways to make it a sticky habit?
