Get the place w the washer dryer. The class of neighborhood for a place w no w/d is auto lower
@AC1 I just like Arlington better than DC. Still city but suburban, can get to anywhere in the DMV area in under 20 minutes and can get to DCA in under 10 minutes.
Safety? LOL what is this, 1997? Us single girls do just fine living in DC 😂
Get the w/d. I live in Arlington specifically because it’s easier to find apartments with dishwashers, w/d, etc, out here. If I wanted to give that up, I’d just move to DC.
“Location, location, location” is more important than size or amenities. Is one closer to Metro or in a better neighborhood or more walkable or better for commuting, etc?
Get the w/d only. That sounds like the most important to u if you have to ask.
All the Arlington comments are so Arlington, another reason to live in DC
What are you, a monster?
Neither, I would save more and buy a 2br with a w/d
@D1 Both right across the street from each other. Both have bus and their own shuttle to metro.
Why live in FARlington then you can have it all in DC?
I’m in a similar boat - choosing between Arlington and DC. DC has the nightlife and all the cool stuff to do but you can’t beat the safety of Arlington. Especially when you are a single girl living by yourself
Strategy&1 said that the folks saying we like having dishwashers and washer/dryers are “so Arlington,” whatever that means
1br
That’s good I’d buy 2b w/ w/d - it’s better resale
@SC2 Hmmm...good point.
You only live once, PWC1
Sorry for wanting to have clean dishes and underwear?
^^what?
I dunno, I like having a certain level of danger in my life. DC can provide whatever you can get in Arlington, it’ll just cost more. Plus, the people are more attractive.
