Yes, depends what you plan to do with it. If you’re looking to mod it, or customize it absolutely. If your looking to flip it...eh

Yes - but only a cheap one. For an expensive watch I’d want papers at least, unless maybe I’m buying from a super-trustworthy source. Papers are obviously easier to counterfeit than watches, but you could still do some DD using the papers. Don’t care about the box as I never buy with the intent to resell and it clutters my home, but it might be important to others and generally helps resale.

Yep! I've been buying vintage watches lately and rare to find box/papers for watches from the 50s and 60s. I'd prefer them on a newer watch (such as a 2016 Sub) but the older the watch the less I look for it.
Agree with this. I wouldn’t buy a newer generation watch without papers, and still get it authenticated by a dealer. For vintage watches, I only buy from reputed sellers, so ok with not having papers. Personally don’t care about the box
I only care about the watch so yeah. Even with box and papers I would have it assessed by a jeweler/AD before purchase.
I’m not wearing the box or papers, so yeah. As long as I can have my watchmaker check it out or it’s coming from a reputable dealer I have no issues.
Yes if older than 1995 other wise no
