I have two offers:
-$165k with a City of New York agency
-$130k plus $5k signing bonus with EY Gps
I feel ho-hum about the government job because I’ve been doing it for so long, and also the option for hybrid work is uncertain. But the salary and benefits are obviously appealing.
Any thoughts, especially from those in private consulting?

Salesforce Hello Salesforce fishes, Can someone help me understanding how RSU works in Salesforce? If they offered 100k in RSU means stock worth of 100k based on the offer date? Or based on the vested date rate (after 1 year)? I would like to know how the stock quantity get calculated. Thanks in advance

You wanna work at the rocketship not a freaking SI partner. Easy one
Yep staying around for now.
I would only take D at the principal/MD level. Salesforce will end up being higher pay and less work at all other levels primarily due to getting stock.
D is a downgrade IMO - plus Salesforce is growing their own professional services arm(s) (see Acumen acquisition) which likely means they will start to compete (more) with SIs for implementation/maintenance services
What’s your level? I agree with responses above, wouldn’t recommend unless you are coming at PPMD.
FYI- I am currently in process of moving from Big4 to SF-CSG.
What level are you looking at coming in?
Depends on the role level at D. If it is SM level, I wouldn’t even entertain the conversation. SM at D needs you to give lot of your time and mind space. It needs you to throw work
Life balance out of window for few years
Wow, the exodus continues.
I worked in CSG...only thing constant is a reorg every Fiscal....if you can make the hop to become an SE..I find presales is more fun!
I'd say go to CSG over deloitte. Both are hard to move up but the big consulting firms are a lot of hours.
Similar comp?
Trying to decide if I should even have conversation with D regardless of comp. Base might actually be higher for the D role.
