Yes. We do a lot with data, so as engineers it's our responsibility to solve problems ethically. I won't work at a place without a moral compass. Covid too. If a place isn't taking a scientific position on it, I'm gone.

If you dig deep enough, there is always something going on that will end up harming someone. It would have to be pretty bad for me to consider leaving because of it.

It depends on your personal income. Since job recruitment situations are difficult during these periods, I suggest you wait a bit and interact with those around you about this issue. It's good to be realistic
