Alvarez & Marsal Can anyone at Alvarez & Marsal provide insight to PEPI P&L interview case? Am told I’m doing a “verbal case” where the interviewer flashes a P&L and some questions. Interested in the complexity/difficulty here. Followed by an “analytical excel case” but that seems to be some pivots and clearing a table. Any insights help!

It is but who cares. Get the $$$$ unless you have a clear path to partner here.
If you are confident your Double A baseball team would still be playing in couple of years from now.
No heart feelings, but Capgemini work is terrible. Over n again, I get to see their deliverables from my clients...and it is not well structured/planned. They get their projects due to low price point. Question is...as a Partner what kind of team/business you want to build. Do you care of your own self-brand...and, would you be able to accomplish in such a setting?!
I personally wouldn’t, especially if you plan to stay in consulting for quite a while. The 40-50% comp can be easily caught up in a couple years if you stay at McK (assuming you’re in consulting) while the potential at Cap is likely to be less than McK
I think you will be shocked by the lack of competence and capability you’re currently used to. There’s no way I’d make that move unless you had no path to partner. Even then, I’d be looking T2, not T48.
Honestly even if you have no path to partner I wouldn’t go to Capgemini. I used to work there. That place is a complete mess. Their capability and infrastructure is far below MBB or T2 firms. More importantly, if you become partner you’ll have to bring a book of business. I doubt your current clients will want to work with Capgemini just because you say so; it will require a lot of work and convincing. I have seen many people come at the partner level at Capgemini only to leave within 6 months.
Unless you are confident that you can bring business as a partner at Cap, I wouldn’t do it. You’ll be better off going to industry or going to a T2 at the AP level.
