Any advice on how best to “pitch” myself when a recruiter asks for an estimate of how many times I’ve drafted specific types of briefs/other motions? I have almost 2 years under my belt, for reference, so not a ton of experience to pull from unfortunately. My job search has been discouraging, and this position would be a dream, so any feedback will be much appreciated.
Hello there! I have been interviewing with Amazon for L6 Sr. UX Designer role. I want to understand what’s the salary range I should be negotiating for that role. I have no clue what big company like amazon and Facebook pays for someone with 10 years of experience. Any help and pointer will help me with the negotiation. Thank you.
Anyone know a good company that is hiring in Dallas or remote? Looking for consultant, Product/Project Manager, Integration Specialist/developer or similar roles!
What salary can I expect for 11YOE IN JPMC at AVP level...Role offered is data viz reporting...let me know if any details needed to answer better...
Did well in first and second interview. Third interview was behavioral questions which I had a gut feeling I didn’t do well on. Niche consultant position. Was executive in last role. Have sent enthusiastic thank you emails to all three. Would sending a more in-depth addendum email to 2nd and 3rd interviewers to better answer missed questions be over eager?
Has anyone made the jump from one industry role to a higher paying industry role? What was the role before and after, and what was the comp change? I hear the job market is hot right now but have a hard time believing I can make significantly more than 300-350k at 7 YOE. Thanks!
What’s the turnaround time to get into a federal role (usajobs)? I’ve heard it can take up to months…and to not apply unless you are a veteran? Is this true?
Came back from mat leave, been aggressively networking to get a client role but no takers for a someone who can’t travel 100%. I’m willing to compromise n travel 50% but nothing! So much for inclusion
Considering an “attorney development” role at a big firm. Currently midlevel at a big firm. I would be helping with career planning, reviews and staffing. The attorney development role is low six figures (less than market 1st year salary) and 9-6. I don't hate practicing law, just looking for better hours and long term viability. appreciate hearing from anyone who knows folks in similar roles.
Hey Fishes. Can someone give insights on the bonus(variable) component in Juniper salary. What part of it can one expect to get?
Hello, Could you please guide me with the salaries of senior consultant in Big 4 in Canada ? I know that it varies based on location, but what would be a competitive salary for Toronto , Ottawa and Vancouver?
Netflix’s declared policy is “we give adequate performers a generous severance package so that we can find a star for that position.” Is that true in practice?
Hi all, I’m in PAS at EY. I find that I’m not really enjoying my work here. Wondering what exit ops are out there for folks in HCM? I feel like I’ve moved into too niche of an area. Would love to hear everyone’s thoughts
I am being required to relocate for a position that is still currently remote. Same state. Is this unreasonable?
Hi, I got a call from KPMG HR today asking for relevant experience and salary expectations. I quoted between 22-26LPA for Manager or Senior Consultant role based on how the interview goes. I have around 7 years of experience. Should and can I quote more ? Or what I've mentioned is alright? I am on 14.3LPA Also I need some resources to prepare for the further rounds. Any help is really welcome. The role was for IT Audit (ITGC, App Control, ISO27001 etc). Please DM if you can help. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Does anyone know how much bonus / RSUs Sr Program Managers (Level 6) get at Amazon? I’m looking at a post MBA role.
Just found out I’m getting promoted from Sr AD to ACD. Really happy, but they haven’t told me what the salary increase is yet. What’s reasonable to expect? Another 20k?
How’s life at ZS? Looking for a new role. Associate consultant role - can people share experience and compensation?
I’m currently doing portfolio opps at a solid UMM shop, but exploring making a change (potentially to a bigger firm where there’s more career progression). I was recruited to my current role, and am wondering how others in portfolio opps are finding new opportunities. It seems like most of them recruit vs. post jobs. Any insights are appreciated!
Has anyone transitioned from HNWI/family office/related business tax work from PA into industry? Feeling pigeonholed, like my only exit opportunities are either a family office or smaller PA firm. Not sure what a good exit strategy from public would be. Anyone out there make the switch and come out the other end for the better?
I’m so glad I found this bowl. As an intern, I’m seeking guidance on how to take on this industry while still being true to who I am. Thank you all for your daily encouragement.
Honest opinion on the COVID vaccine mandates? No judgement on my part; just want to know the heartbeat of the community?
I’m a fourth-year associate who just got an offer to go in house. My experience is in litigation but I’d be working on more corporate matters, which scares me. But I hate billables and firm culture and the in-house company is a huge company where you can make moves in once you’re there. My salary would be the same but I’d get better benefits and bonus opportunities in house. Plus I’m a mom and will have on-site childcare. Should I be scared that switching from litigation will be boring?
What is job security like as a post-MBA level VC associate? I understand partnership is extremely difficult to obtain. Assume you’re joining a small-ish (250m AUM) shop that seems to be doing well (has been around for 20 years) but isn’t a huge brand name, are there decent 200k+ paying exit options available?
How is the Deals Capital Projects team at PwC? I just got an invite for the video interview

Hi! Anyone on here from Kearney? Found a position that I’m interested in and looking to pursue. Would love to learn more about the firm/culture etc and get some feedback. Thank you!
Is there a time when people generally “start” work remotely? Back when I was a summer before the pandemic, I commonly saw people go in between 9-10 am but I didn’t know what the norm is now that we are remote. I see emails at 8 am and I’m not sure if I’m expected to respond then or not. Also if you are on a deal where some of the members are in NY and you’re in the Midwest, are you expected to go by their times and be on when they are on?
Is the interview process to get into IBD harder or easier than top consulting firms like BCG/McKinsey/Bain? Where do the truly smart people work nowadays?
