How do I talk my way around a poor under grad GPA without a GMAT or anything outside of professional experience to compensate for it? Also, can employers gain access to your ACT scores in BG check?

Anyone have GMAT success stories /tips they can share? I put in like 150 hours of studying and took the test multiple times but could only get a 710, so trying to see if I just accept it or try again before R2 apps are due. My biggest issue is consistency since I either do well on Q or V

It's not like it's the biggest thing in the world but I've reached the SuperDay, I felt like my interview went well but I'm an international student who is not on a STEM course and would need sponsorship after one year, I felt that might have impacted the decision? ( I put it in my initial application, so going through it was surreal).

9 YOE (6.5 in consulting, 2.5 in BU strategy and M&A). Involved in end-to-end process (incl. modeling) but processes largely led by Corporate M&A team. 3 tuck-ins completed (all in 2022).

Options considering:
1/ Continue current path, stack more deal experience, strong chance of Director promo in 3-6 months
2/ Don’t wait, just jump or apply to other roles
3/ Study and go back to grab MBA (considering MIT or Stanford MSX - 1 YR)

I have been in insurance sales for 7 years. Not something was ever thinking I would do. I have a bachelors and masters in general psychology. My masters was more research based in hopes I would go back for my PhD one day. I decided to just go back for my MBA with a concentration in Business Analytics. How can I break out of the insurance sales role and into something else with insurance if all my experience has been sales. Should I just wait until I am done with my degree and then search after?

My first practice showed pretty good quant but lower verbal. I’m not in a hurry, I am planning to study a few hours every weekend (open-ended), then take 1-2 weeks off and take the exam.
