Hello Fishes, I carry 5.9 yrs of exp in International inside sales & LeadGen (Domestic- 2 yrs & Europe- 3.9 yrs) working for Tata Elxsi from past 2.8 years. As I'm not getting the expected hike based on my performance, I want to change the co. Current package - 8LPA, too low compared to market standards.
* Let me know- how much should I quote if I start to give interviews * Is it a good time to switch co. Also share which companies should I approach. Thanks in advance.
Hi fishes
I was supposed to have my Amazon Round 3 interview in the first week of May but the interviewer didn't join. My recruiter didn't reply for a few days and then rescheduled it.
Even in this rescheduled interview, my interviewer didn't join. This time my recruiter joined and said she'll reschedule my interview.
She still hasn't done that even after a follow up.
Is this common? Is this some kind of patience test?
I have no clue but I'm really frustrated at this point.
Please suggest

Ask for an off-site meeting. The hiring manager isn’t allowed to leak that info
Might be too late to ask. More concerned about them asking people who know me within their agency and then having them come inform my agency lol
if they want you, they won't. I'd be more worried about gossip from people who see you in the halls.
This is why our industry constantly shoots itself in the foot. If you’ve done anything remotely successful in your career you’ve also probably made a few mistakes along the way too.
Unfortunately, that means anyone who thought you weren’t up to the task or disagreed with your approach can derail your job prospects years later. Hopefully one of those people didn’t see you in the halls, or isn’t asked to weigh in on hiring you. And, hopefully you weren’t a full on noob, because then they probably will want to gossip to your current agency.
I have before and asked to meet off-site for that reason, they understood as the two agencies had a lot of move between them. Actually had a co-worker interview at that same agency and then had someone there reach out to us somewhat discretely, but it could've very easily gotten back to her boss if we had been ridiculous about it.
I interviewed recently at an agency my manager at the time had come from. He ended up not only knowing but brought it up in casual conversation: “hey I heard you interviewed at xxx...”. It made me disrespect him a lot more than I already did, and also never want to work at the other agency. And to boot they ghosted me.
Be careful, but also ask whether you want to be at that type of place.
