Hi All! I am all set to join Infosys from 10th October as a Senior Consultant and they have given us an option of in person or virtual onboarding. With Wipro and TCS incorporating a hybrid model, is there any news that Infosys may also do the same?
My HR had given an option of permanent wfh during recruitment, can anyone currently working at Infosys shed some light on this please!! Infosys

I say let them decide if you’re good for the position. Go in with confidence, assess the experience requirements and see if it’s a plausible fit. If it’s not too, too much of stretch then you’re not wasting anyone’s time. Let them decide if it’s too big of a jump for you.
Also, if you’re a female, do you think a man with your same experience would hold back from applying to this job? Many women wait until they meet all of the requirements before applying whereas men don’t. If you think you could rise to the occasion based on the job description I see no issue applying.
Go for it and good luck!!
Thanks for this! I am female and I definitely suffer from “meet all the requirements” syndrome.

OP, I'll be direct that you're stopping yourself from an opportunity you haven't explored in full yet. Apply, interview, and ask all the questions you need that is going to help you make an informed decision. If and when you get an offer, you can make your choice then. Your own hesitation is stopping you from the simple exploration of the opportunity. Have some faith in yourself OP!
No one can tell you what factors of a job are important to you. A stranger shouldn't define this for you. I recommend you make a list of pros and cons of your current role, and use that to compare to this opportunity.
Men do it all the time.
I used to have doubts like you do. But having worked with a guy who is mediocre at his job but somehow keeps moving up in rank, getting higher and higher titles by agency hopping, I have a different outlook now. Every time I think I may not be ready for a job, I say to myself, "I bet X thinks he would totally kill it in this role," and I apply. Go for it, OP, and good luck. 👍
The reason I say I don’t feel ready is because I feel like there’s a lot more I can learn and grow from but this position is very enticing. Any advice on what factors I should consider before making a decision? TIA!
go for it!! In my opinion, you’re not ready until you’re there (trial by fire and all that).
Go for it!

Apply! Former Interbrander here - you’ve gotten a lot of really great experience there that you can use as a springboard to something else. Take the interview and see if it’s a good fit before you shut it down.
Absolutely.
