Go look at the sky and think about how small and insignificant you are in the grand scheme of things.
Caring about the model of your phone in 2019 is for complete losers
I just came from the bank where a rep tried to show me how I can scan my iPhone to use the ATM without my debit card.
I pulled out my iPhone 5S and an awkward conversation followed. It didn’t help that the teller asked what I do for work and I said I work at a digital ad agency.
I left the bank feeling outdated and embarrassed. My 5S does what I need it to do and I don’t mind the small screen.
I don’t need to have the latest $1,000 phone every year, but was wondering if managers or others judge coworkers and their ability to “be current” by the devices they own.
Just get an iPhone SE 2
Do you watch every show an ad of yours has ever appeared on? Drive on every highway an OOH posting was on? Watch every niche YouTube channel? No, of course not. So, this isn’t very different to me. As long as you know what you need to know about working with the platforms you work with, I don’t care if your preferred method of communication is smoke signals.
Don’t let bullshit like this affect you.
Well that took an interesting turn.
Steve Jobs insisted on the smaller screen, because you could reach everything on the screen with one hand. iPhones only got bigger after he died.
My small hands feel this so hard. And so does my iPhone 6 when I drop it 5 times a day trying to reach the top of the screen.
My CCO has a wide-cracked-screen iPhone 6. Clients notice it, production partners notice it. Heck he doesn’t care. It works like he intends it to be. People will notice but that’s it.
iPhone size is the equivalent of measuring dicks.
No one wants a puny one
It’s how you use it that counts 😉
