I'm having the last loop interviews with Amazon for an analyst position, but I'm realizing that it might not be the right place for me, I'm currently working at hpe and have a good balance, 11+ YOE, I'm not sure if it's really worth the effort. Can someone tell me about what level sales ops analyst job might be? I looked for range salaries and it looks like it is 55k for Germany, so not really much of what I'm earning now.
I read bad comments about the culture and the workload balance.

Monitor vs commercial strategy is very different.
One is much more broad. If you are interested in specializing it may make sense

This sounds like a wash to me. You’ve already got Deloitte, the exit opps would be the same with EYP. Just seems redundant in my opinion. You can move up and go to MBB or jump to a prestigious industry role making $$$. Even at the L4 or IC4 levels would easily put you at $240k TC, but with where you’re at, I can easily see L5 or IC5 depending on whether or not you mess up in interviews.
Yup, that’s exactly my thinking - even a small TC raise isn’t worth it at this level of comp to just jump to a similar role/company.
Similar exits the question is do you want to continue progression at D or prefer culture shift. I bet you could get 220 at EYP
Agree with you. As mentioned above, the potential salary increase isn’t substantial to me. I can either stay at D and shoot for partnership later since I have an established network or I can try to move to industry for something that may appear to be interesting with good WLB in the future
Then it probably won’t make much sense financially since I’m already at $202k - I probably can’t get a 15-20% increase in my base. Do you think the brand name and exit opps are considerably different?
If you come in as a D2 you’d be at 220k, D3 at 235k, so it depends on which band you’d come in as.
From what I’ve heard promotion timelines are also much faster here than they are at Deloitte, so that’s another factor to consider.
