Say something! It takes a village!!
Why nicely? I’d terrify the little kid so they never do it again
Know the pain. I was on NYC to Moscow flight, the kid was constantly kicking my seat, I knew it was a long flight. I gently turn to him and asked to stop (using a "please" at the end), got two kids so I know how to influence them (not always of course...), be brief but gentle and just ask. Anyway his mother threw some insulting words in Russian at me, how dare I, that I'm an idiot, I must come from a country blah blah blah, etc. So I asked the crew for a hand, they found a different seat for me. Funny that the guy sitting next to me was moved his seat for the same reason 😂 the crew is there to help you handling any inconveniences. Or you can be polite and suffer.
I would nicely speak to the parent/guardian
polite first and second time.. Third time, the nasty is coming out. I dont let my kids play this ish when on flights. Parent need to have better control of their kids, period
I was on a flight once and this lady told the kid behind her to stop kicking in a loud tone. The mom started screaming and cussing the lady out with such force that the lady got terrified. So yeah, I would ask the parent
I’m so over this but this is society now. Heaven forbid you address an issue with anyone. Clearly they’re not paying attention to their kid and don’t give a shit that they’re bothering anyone.
Depends on age. You can try, but kid might just lack the self control.
Omg say something. Clearly the parent is ignoring it
