I know this topic does not get talked about much but will eventually impact almost all of us so here goes. I am thinking of retiring (early) and would love recommendations for countries that I can retire to that. Primary factors would be cost if living, safety, warm climate, good health care system, (preferably) close to the US - not a requirement, stable government and laws, diversity in landscape (beach, rivers, mountains). Definitely not super rich so thinking of 5k a month in expenses.

Talked with two companies last Friday and got very positive feedback from the HR, but wondering if it’s bad sign of not hearing back after a week, considering both companies seem to be hiring desperately.
