Funny how some firms have analysts at entry level that then get promoted to consultants, and others vice-versa. Wonder if it affects exit-opportunities at all 😛
What is the key difference between an analyst role vs. MBA level role in consulting at your firm?
Currently a tech consultant and looking to transition to strategy. Any one want to earn a referral bonus?
What should I ask for in my exit interview?
ACN: I was an experienced hire last year (TC). At time of hiring - Consultant w/ 24M@L, $110k + 5%. Am I being shafted? Looking for >$140k when bumped to LVL7. Thanks!
Guy behind me in the group 1 line to board the plane - "are you group 1?" - no asshole, I'm just standing here to be a total inconvenience to you. STFU and go to your exit row seat.
Yes I am willing and able to assist in case of an emergency. And by that I mean I got kicked out of economy comfort and am settling for an exit row
Top consulting firms hiring right now?
Looking to switch firms and a Deloitte S&O recruiter randomly reached out to me on LinkedIn. Says he wants to have an informal chat. Any tips or advice? It'd be awesome to land this position.
Asking for a friend cuz I have no idea. What type of position/role a biomedical Ph.D. can do in consulting? Any specific company/group so he can do further research? Thanks in advance.
Any thoughts on houlihan lokey? Got reached out to for a VP role there. Should I bother?
My friend (recent grad) wants to apply to Accenture Strategy through my referral. Is ACN Strategy hiring right now?
FS peeps, what are some exit opportunities you've seen colleagues leave for or are interviewing for yourselves?
Interviewing for Senior Analyst Corp Strategy role. I'm going into my second year of consulting. Worth it if they offer me +30-40% salary increase?
Few days old...but haven't seen this referenced in the feed 😳 "PwC accused of falsifying time cards, hiring prostitutes" http://www.dailynews.com/general-news/20160630/dwp-contractor-pwc-accused-of-falsifying-time-cards-hiring-prostitutes
Fellow FBers: anyone have an analyst role open at Accenture? Really don't want to get stuck on a local project that I'm being proposed for right now.

Got into a very minor car accident and the person wants me to pay for the body work to the tune of $400. Is it better to just pay for it, tell the person to go through insurance, or tell the person to take a hike 😅 If I go through insurance, do you think they would fight it off on my behalf or raise my premiums? For context, I scraped the person’s door while opening my door.
Anyone know a place to get a drink at 7a in LGA?
Anyone working at A&M on their healthcare side willing to chat? I have an interview lined up for a consultant role and have some questions.
Consulting vs big tech comp question: I’m currently making $175k base in a T2 city, working 35-40 hours/week. Is it even worth it to apply to Product Manager positions at Meta, Google, etc.? It seems like from a comp perspective I’m not gonna do much better than this, and any additional earnings would be outweighed by the COL increase if I had to move to California.
When you are a new consultant - no client facing experience prior. How long is the training before you get put on projects?
Does anyone have experience with interview cases/process at McKinsey & Company Risk Dynamics? TIA
