Any Aon pension actuaries who could help my friend understand the hierarchy of titles? Let’s say my friend has 10 years of experience, FSA and EA credentials, was a consistently high performer over his career, what would his expected title be at Aon within the core retirement actuarial business? Thanks in advance.

50. Can’t buy time
EY3, that’s some suspicious accounting 🤔. Might need to test the details of that transaction during our audit procedures 😉
What are you gonna do with 22mil what you can’t do with 7. I’ll happily retire at 50. One doesn’t need too much to be happy!
Live 30 more years very comfortably and still have something left to pass on.
50! I could invest that money to get me close to 22m by 55
Big facts
50 with $7m. A good portion of the difference between $7m and $22m is just the growth during that 15 year period.
I would rather retire earlier with less money (still more than enough for me to live well) and enjoy life, travel, spend more time with family, etc.
Agree that we can spent time with family now. But having more time would allows us more travel, hobbies, and dedicate time to some things that we may be passionate about.
If you can't be happy at 50 with $7M, you're not going to be happy at 65 with $22M.
Can I do 25 with 3.5M instead?

Maybe depends on how old you are now and how much is in your trust fund

$7m at a 4% safe withdrawal rate is $280,000/year. No way I could spend that much
Nah
Depends on if I’m enjoying what I’m doing. Killing myself in a job I hate- 50 w/ 7m. But if I’m loving what I’m doing and it’s keeping me mentally sharp, I don’t know why I’d ever want to fully retire if I can still spend lots of time with loved ones also.
This - if you’re doing something you enjoy, then keep working. 65 is still young enough to retire and go travel or do things you enjoy beyond work
65, $22m

All these accountants are going to retire at 65 with like 3M saved so idk why we are having this conversation
45, 4M
50 because tomorrow is not promised #ripmamba

How can I make the 7m by age 50?
Invest 10m into the market
50, $7M
Time is far more valuable than money to me and I only work for the money so I can do things I like to do.
Definitely 50. Can’t buy time and health is harder to regain.
My retirement goal is 2M so 7M is way more than enough
When I had a million, I did two chicks at the same time. Retire with $7M and we’ve got a partayyyy!
Not a good look for the two of them at 500k a piece. Send em my way next time.
50, a 8% gain and 4% withdrawl would get me close to the same amount. This is assuming no mortgages and large loans outstanding.
Sorry, say that again, you’ve got a pretty hard to understand drawl.
7M@50.
Don’t know if I’ll have the life or energy to spend the money at 65. 🙂
Get out of there...the sooner the better you will feel.
50 no question
Might die by 65 o take it and run?
