Dear fishes, After working in Autosar(CAN/FR/OS) configuration for 4 years, I wanted to switch domain to device drivers. So I bought a STM board. Joined some udemy courses. Learnt SPI/I2C/NVIC/exception handling and FREERTOS/OS. Now I want to apply to companies like Nvidia Texas Instruments Qualcomm NXP Without any prior experience I am a bit nervous as people say the interviews would be very difficult in these.
Please help with embedded and prog ques for these interviews.

If you are starting as an Audit Associate some time from now with Deloitte or any of the big 4, do they expect you to have passed/completed all 4 parts by the time you start? Received the Becker Reimbursement email from the recruiter not too long ago but have yet to start. I’ve seen plenty of people get to Senior at a big 4 firm without the CPA so I am a bit confused in that aspect. Any helpful feedback will be very much appreciated.

I think working for an incompetent client would be less stressful because your competent manager or partner will still guide you. But you will definitely learn more when working with an incompetent manager/partner since you will be forced to take more responsibility and not rely on them.
I work with both
Client. I don’t think you learn more when the people above you are incompetent. You may learn that you don’t want to be like them - and that’s important but this is not generally a self taught job
Client for sure
Definitely incompetent client
Client
Client
Incompetent client all day. Current manager is so hard headed and runs with the blinders on, that it causes myself and the team way more stress than is necessary. At least with an incompetent client we can work through it as a team
10000000000% mgr/partner. Having a client who knows what they’re doing and can actually provide support timely makes my Job a thousand times easier than any mgr or partner has
Definitely incompetent client
Definitely an incompetent client. At least your manager/partner have your back and share your frustration in that situation (generally).
Neither!
It is funny. I have not seen an incompetent partner before
Client!!
What if they're both incompetent? 😂
Incompetent client for sure
Neither is a preferred answer but I think this depends a lot on your level. As an associate or senior, working with a manager that doesn’t know what they are doing can be miserable because they likely have a significant impact over your day to day work life. That said, as a senior manager or partner working with a client that you can’t trust to be competent adds a lot of stress and risk. In my current role I can always help out a senior or associate if I see another manager struggling, but I can’t tell a client they are clueless...nature of working in a client service industry
Well I work with both on a day to basis
Client!
In important partners are fewer and further between than incompetents for sure but there are some. They stick around long enough. Brown nose the right people. Stay off naughty lists and just wait it out. Eventually they get promoted. In my career I’ve only met one or two I would qualify as completely incompetent. Vast majority are between good and very good with differing skill sets. Clients on the other hand... throw a dart blind folded and you’ll hit an incompetent client. It takes a lot of people to run a company and the likelihood of them all being competent is nearly zero so you’re best hope is that the top isn’t terrible
