I left my previous job that has great benefits (~$250k), good job security, decent career trajectory but so underworked that I was bored out of my mind ( mostly 20-30 hrs/wk ). I could have cruised for a few more years but the lack of work drove me crazy enough to look for something else.

That’s how I feel right now! I am currently in #2 but moved there from #1. The lack of work is driving me insane. I just don’t know what the right move is. Do I try and go back to my old job?

Look for better options. Stay in #2 so you have more time and energy to hunt for an option better than #1.

History repeats from time to time but still greed seems to conquer everyone. We should always stick to fundamentals. Bitcoin , GME , AMC ... let me say it again: in this fake battle between Reddit and hedge funds the only people at loss are the noob investors. Hedge fund money comes from many of our pension and retirement account so if hedge funds loose it is ultimately the common man that suffers.

In-house marketing departments are flourishing right now. We’ve hired two new people, and plan on more. And we continue to fire our agencies, from content creation to branding. I think it’s a positive move, as I’ve seen better work related to the brand I work for come from those who understand it best. Tell me again why a full agency is necessary? 😆 We hire and give full benefits, while agencies continue to ask freelancers for discounts, while jacking up their agency rates.

Just had an argument with the wife about who's working "harder" at this moment. She's a nurse and I respect what she's going through. But she's making it seem like things is all easy with me working from home and watching a toddler by myself. I argued well I acknowledged how hard you worked during maternity leave while watching our daughter while I worked. I'm basically doing both roles at the same time. She said its not really the same thing but I think thats hypocritical. Am I wrong?
