May be... I still recommend consulting early in career for those that want to fast track their entry to industry with a few years of hard work. It isn't all bad.

Sure. You get to learn a lot in a short time and you get paid well in the beginning. Ofc that plateus but a great job out of college.

Yes. If they are strong enough.

Nope

My kids are young and I’m curious how automation and machine learning will disrupt consulting in 20 years but still bullish on the industry overall

Yes, but it depends on their other skills. I wouldn't recommend that a computer science grad go make slides, but I would recommend consulting to a liberal arts grad whose other option might be an unpaid internship.

That's how you often get tech strategy that makes no sense. There is place for all knowledge base specifically since the larger firms are investing more on tech consulting. 😀

Yes! It pays so well (For me at least. Could I potentially get more money elsewhere? Yes. But since I’m here now, I’m all systems go for this job)

Fresh out of colleague to learn some very important professional skills and the ability to handle A LOT OF PRESSURE - then move. Oh wait - that was my plan! 😂

Plz fix!

like

Sure. As long as they can afford the lifestyle they want and save/invest, I don’t care what my kids do.

Weed is legal and lucrative rn C1, why the self-own?

Yes!! I was an English major and can’t imagine having a better business experience fresh out of college.

Yes my sister is about to go to college and wants to be a lawyer. I’m setting her up so that if law school doesn’t work out she has a decent fall back.

Nah I’d tell them to go into SWE for twice the pay and half the work

When you are staff and your seniors review everything you do, change a tiny bit, and take as if they did it to present to others, feels like a surrogate mother.
