Hi,
I have given tcs interview on 25th November friday and interview went well , the same day i got mail to upload documents. I have uploaded the documents on Saturday. And status of documents got changed to verified today. And my status from 25th is same 'Evaluation in Progress'.
HR who called me to upload document is not picking my call today.
Any idea when I'll get call from HR. My notice period is still 2 months more left. Will that have impact?Tata Consultancy

Genuinely curious. How many of you all saying partners have actually worked in industry? I came from industry and I have a bit of a different take. Once the company has been live for a few years the internal team is usually really good, especially with minimal turnover. I went the consulting route cause my company didn’t have any open roles and I wanted to get out of reporting to config. I’ve not been impressed with the majority of people I’ve worked with so far. There are no doubt some people who are smes but the vast majority of consultants try to figure it out as they go and don’t always get to develop deep knowledge since they’re either pure impl (not saying imp is bad but it’s just not the same as being in a live environment) or hopping project to project usually with limited scope. Just my 2 c.

In my opinion you can develop HRIS and HR functional experience a lot more quickly in consulting than in industry. If you’re strictly doing Workday implementation projects, you probably won’t develop that perspective but if you’re at a firm that does more varied projects, you can definitely build that skill set (and your exposure will be a lot broader than if you spent a few years in industry with one company).
