As long as there is *something* there - some combo of eduction, life experience, etc that got them to 29. Shit happens. My husband was an orphan and put himself through school since age 14. He didn’t graduate with undergrad fully until 27. So at 27, all he had was Starbucks and odds and ends on his resume. By 29, 2 years of experience. I did some coaching, and now at 32 he has a job commiserate with usual 7-8 years experience and making bank. Sometimes people just need that little bit of help.
Not uncommon if they have a PhD...
If you’re talking outside the firm, I feel that a mentor relationship is one that you develop on a personal level. If you and the mentor click, then why not? Age/experience shouldn’t really play a huge factor. And 29 with 2 years work experience is not crazy by any stretch. What’s your background?
Why not? Age doesn't matter much.
I would take someone who was 59 and 2 years of experience as a mentee.
What kind of question is this? Everyone has value if they apply themselves.
Masters degree and international experience isn’t shabby. Sounds like you need help packaging it up and selling it all; be a little realistic you may not come in as a Sr or a Manager but you could jump in and move up fast if you’re focused
I have a masters degree and a few years of oversea entrepreneur experiences.
I sometimes feel insecure about my age as I do think I could have made better choices.
Of course
