10%? We can do it for 8.3%. It’s called unpaid leave and is very common. More common though is Time For You, which is 2 months unpaid leave where BCG continues to pay benefits.

@OP - we do promos every month. Unpaid leave/TFY shift promo windows by exactly 1 or 2 months. So yes, you are eligible for promo a bit later, but not punitively. Same for parental leave.
I took 2 months parental and 1 month unpaid. My “on time” PL promotion window thus shifted from 24 to 27 calendar months (still 24 months of tenure) after my start date.
