Hello Fishes,
I had given interview Mindtree and cleared both technical rounds. On Tuesday 29 March 2022, I got a call from HR for the final discussion. After that I have not received any response.
I have been calling the HR and her manager, both are not responding to mail or calls.
Is there a way to get some information if my candidature is still in progress or is this delay natural? I have another offer from another company, but am more interested in joining Mindtree.
Hi Amazonians,
I am looking for guidance.
I am going to start interview process with Amazon next week. Probably all rounds will be done in 1-2 day time frame.
How/what should I prepare for interview?
Am clueless on what kind of ds & algo questions, system design questions are asked in Amazon interviews.
My techstack: javascript developer- react+Angular.
1. Pls guide me on what/how to prepare?
2. Also, will the interview be solely on da & algo and javascript; or on Js frameworks?

200k at 4 YOE?! What?!
Hey D3, thanks! I actually started at an SI firm (think Capgemini, Cognizant, etc.) in HCOL city earning like 72K base as a BA, but decided to pivot into strategy 1.5 years in and got hired into a T2 firm as an SBA. Since then, it’s just been a normal progression to my current position as an associate (~1 year promo).
I think to get to $200K TC as a 3-4YOE consultant you’d have to work for a high paying T2 or MBB, imo.
Keep looking. I'm sure the FAANGs can give you an offer where you don't sacrifice on pay.
Im going to go against the grain and say this is actually a good offer, especially for 4 YOE. If the role has better WLB it could definitely be worth it. People on this app think everyone is entitled to 300k TC at FAANG within 5 years of undergrad. That is not the reality and often you have to take a pay cut to leave consulting
It’s a good offer for most folks, but don’t think it’s the right offer for OP. They’re clearly crushing it at their current firm and making a ton; they should be aiming for unicorns, not a company most folks from D/ACN could get into.
Coach
What's the motivation in leaving?
Mainly just WLB and getting into tech industry. But, not sure if I should at least try to find a role that matches my TC or exceeds it so it’s a complete win-win, you know?
Nope
You okay with sacrificing pay and trajectory for better WLB? I would keep moving forward - you’re crushing it dude(tte)
That’s a great point - appreciate the input. I’ll probably keep on searching!
And it’s Kearney that I’m at haha.
$20K would be taken off my current base salary
