I am in cap invent.. strong culture, good pay if you’re brought externally. Happy to chat
If you’re coming as a Senior Manager at $190k, that seems to be a good wage. I’m a Manager at $125k with a bonus of $1000. Did they mention the bonus? 70% is a massive jump. With the WLB that I have experienced at Cap, I don’t think I would turn down that bump. Once you get here though, annual raises will 1-5% and you should expect small increases for your entire tenure.
Benefits aren’t bad but could be much better. Pto blows. I think Senior Manager is 17 days + 10 sick. I’m on the middle family health care plan - most I’ll ever pay in premiums and max-out-of-pocket is ~$12k (assuming insurance covers it all). 401k is 2% or 3%, I can’t remember.

I will take 72% bump to even go KPMG 😎
Imagine thinking you’re better than people bc you work at Deloitte AND getting paid less lmao
Rising Star
I’ll take 72% bump to go from S& to Municipal Waste and Sanitation
Solid exit op into an industry with good tailwinds
To clarify. The increase is to base salary.
113k to 195k
Well, as long as you have sales and BD work under your belt go for it. I would ask what your sales targets and Managed Revenue for the year is as well
Nah 73% or bust
what's there to even ask... its bloody 72%
Depends. CapGemini is not friendly to women, LGBTQ+, nor minorities. If any of these describe you, I’d pump the breaks.
Come on man, you want reservations here too?
I'd take 72% to work at Four Seasons landscaping
Why are you hesitating?
Their data practice is good. I know most of the leaders. They are pretty much the good parts of IBM’s leadership. Some of the practices are terrible though.
It's tempting, though at this point I've established so many internal and client relationships that if I'm going to jump, it's going to be to industry and not another consulting firm.
I took a 50% bump to go from Cap to KPMG, that was an easy decision…
Don't over think it. This is a good move even if only for a year
To be honest, +72% sounds great. But firms are more complex than most are trying to make it out to be here. There are likely bright spots at Capgemini and some spots you shouldn’t pursue even if they will double your TC. Did you get a good sense of t he group’s culture albeit being an accelerated process? My process was accelerated at my current firm but I was able to get a sense of the team in talking to people we did business with and others at my firm who I’d known in previous lives.
Run far away! Do not join their SAP practice! Do NOT do it. 72% percent pay bump reeks of desperation IMO. How can you go from $113K to $195K?
Mind if I ask, what is your current role at D and YOE?
Have you even looked at Capgemini ? Your statement is the antithesis of our company. We have amazing programs and support systems for the groups you just named-not to mention the awards we have justifiably earned for diversity and inclusion, support of women and for the lgbtq+ communities.
Well my team is dominated by mediocre mid age white men, it’s so bad that even many of my young, white male colleagues can’t stand it. The lack of vision is shocking as well, anyone with real talent and ambition wouldn’t stay for more than 2 years. I’m a woman of colour. They asked me to lead a D&I initiative to make some improvements to pacify me. I saw right through that though. Soon enough a team lead role became available, without any consultation with the team members, the director promoted a male SC who had barely shown his face in the last two years to be the lead and then within a month manager. I feel so disgusted.
Uhhh… no brainer imo. Stay with D (kidding 😂)
Just read some comments. Idk about Cap- but Deloitte PDM isn’t worth it. If it was Core consulting that’d be different. Take the raise.
I’ve worked at Cap for about 8 months before I jumped to D. What type of role is?
Thanks, C4. Very insightful!

Oh yes indeed
Hell Yeah! But I doubt Capgemini would pay that much.. they are too stingy. I just left them for Deloitte.
Well Congrats! SAP is definitely a great market unit within Capgemini
