Never would take a pay cut. Only caveat might be career change. I worked at a mm and it helped me get a bb job.

If I was in the first couple of years in my career, maybe a 10% cut. Now, not a chance I’d take a pay cut to work at JPM or MS.
Are you hiring for any front office roles at associate level? Trying to make a career change as have been stuck in credit risk for too long, 7-8 years now and the clock is ticking.

Why take a pay cut and go somewhere you don't want to work when you could just start making moves now to get to where you want to be long term...? Like why are you still trying to tee up exit ops as an associate? Now is the time to exit if you are going to lol.
I wouldn’t. Source: worked MM, very high quality experience
Payout at JPM. Is that both base and bonus? Jpm tends to pay well. See if you can negotiate.
Yeah they don’t really budge. But I’ll try. Thanks!
