Would you turn down an offer for a corporate strategy position 140k base w/ 155k TC? I have 4 YOE and this is in a MCOL area. What's the catch? It's WELLS FARGO... I repeat the offer is with WELLS FARGO. 🤔

Wells Fargo? Turn it down and they’ll do the paperwork to hire you anyways.

I mean I get all the negative sentiments, but a huge opportunity to make a real strategic impact and change things, right?

Id recommend a strategy where they dont illegally defraud customers, have to pay a large settlement, and forever tarnish their brand value.

Sorry for the quotes - clearly there was fraud. Just wanted to separate that word

I’m there customer and been there consultant. I wouldn’t...

They're must be a reason people work their...but I digress

I’d be more concerned that the job requirement for a corporate strategy position is only 4 YOE.

Pay in line with MBB or exceeds (YOY raise is also in line with career and pay progression at MBB) 2. Have reasonable hours, at most 9-7 so I can pick up some hobbies and have a personal life 3. Have great global brand/prestige that will make me as desirable exiting consulting now vs exiting that company in the future

I’m a 2nd year and effectively just ran a deal on my own with the partner. It ran smoothly, I got praise from the partner, and the partner said that they trust me to do most stuff without their sign off (so no need to check with them in future unless I’m really unsure). Generally there is one or two mid levels above me, and I find it way harder to do my job when they are managing me. They like to keep me on the bench, get me to do minor tasks and don’t let me take responsibility and ownership.
