My Indian Passport is expiring on June 1,2022 and I’m planning my India trip in December and getting my visa stamped too. Will it be an issue while traveling back to US in Jan first week since validity of the passport would be less than 6 months. Anybody faced similar situation? Any suggestions?

I am looking at shifting job and joining anew employer - have my i140 approved in 2016 EB2 and next visa extension in dec 2022- spouse in H4 EAD. I was on opt from July 2020 to July 2021. I got my h1b approved in 2020 and chose to activate it via the consular processing method. I left the US in Jul 2021 and will finally visit the embassy for stamping tomorrow. If successful, does it mean that I could get another company to apply for a h1b transfer right away? Or do I have to enter the US before the h1b transfer process can start? Thanks!

Question for EY moms - my husband and I are thinking about starting a family soon, so I was looking up the parental leave policy to see what my options are. I know some firms have clawback clauses that require you to come back to work for a specific period of time or else you have to pay back the salary you received while on leave, but I couldn’t find anything similar in the EY policy. How do you know when you have enough money? I got laid off in the spring, but don’t feel a pressing need to get a new job right away. Have 3 rental properties, all paid off, get about $3k/mth net from that, have about $200k in a 401k and another $200k in more-liquid investments. I spend less than $2k/mth and feel happy and comfortable. Not married and no kids... but would like that one day, so thinking of maybe saving some more money for that.
