Hey , I have completed an year in Infosys and still have 4 months left for my probation to end . But now I am thinking about doing CDAC and catch a better placement with higher package . Can I take educational leave(If I am eligible) and after CDAC , ask Infy for competitive package or just leave Infosys and focus on CDAC and grab placement in another company. ( average CTC we get after CDAC is 6.5 LPA and current CTC is 3.6 LPA).

Any East Asians in Texas big cities here? Houston Austin Dallas in particular. Do you feel safe? Do you feel like you are being spotted? If an Asian woman is walking around do they stare at her or are they seen as just among many, like in LA or NYC? Good Asian local restaurants? Is the food ok? For the love of god why can’t people properly distinguish my first and last name even though it’s well known in Accenture the format on Teams is Last Name, First Name? If another hiring lead calls me “Wang” instead of my proper obvious American first name that is as common as “Michael” I will just ignore them from now on.
