Is working at Goldman Sachs worth it? I’ve heard there’s no WLB and I’m hesitant on taking an offer. The pay increase is great about 20k more then I’m making but not worth sacrificing my mental health, time, driving distance and schedule if it will be too demanding in the HCM department. I’m also worried because I’m fresh out of school and though I know I have a good background (bachelors) I know I’m not as qualified as others that have worked there. Maxed out Roth IRA contributions when I wasn't eligible for 2021 (got a salary bump mid year). Do I need to recharacterize? It's a very small account that's been open for only two years.
