Got in a car accident and havent been sure how to deal with getting care. I use the VA and they paid for my ER visit, some medication, and a primary visit. I need to see a chiropractor but I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to do since that's the only insurance I use and they take months to get any appointments in presently. It was the other drivers fault but I have to come out of pocket until care is completed then haggle w/ em. Do I wait on the VA? Just pay cash to someone local? Recs?
Are there any healthcare/research consulting firms that take F1 visas? I have a talented acquaintance with healthcare and research experience looking for a consulting fit.
Hypothetical scenario, so put aside the how for a second: A bill is introduced in Congress that will require every able-bodied American to walk, run, or jog 1 mile a day. Additionally, all Americans must eat 1 meal a day that must be a healthy salad or equivalent. Assuming this can actually be tracked and fines enforced for people who violate this bill, are you for or against this bill?
Just venting: For the last 3 months I've been really focused on my cardiovascular health, and doing great. Resting heart rate was the lowest itd been in two years, and my blood pressure was trending in the right direction. Now I have Covid and everything has shot back up. I hate seeing that progress disappear so quickly 😭

Can you sell insurance on the side as a side hustle? Seems pretty set-and-forget once you get people enrolled. Anyone done anything like this or looked into it?
I’m having a hard time staying motivated lately. Really apathetic about everything. Feels like I’m falling into a bad depressive slump. I’m getting more and more behind on work because I just can’t sustain focus for longer than a couple hours at a time. There’s no one to shift my workload to, and as much as the legal industry talks about lawyer mental health, it’s still a taboo topic. I know it’s the pandemic causing this downswing, but I don’t know how to shake myself out of this rut.
I have decided to take a leave of absence for mental health reasons. My team is toxic which is a contributing factor and I need to get out. I’m going through a lot and it is scary. It’s also difficult because my parents do not understand my mental health issues and they get upset/agitated when I try to talk about it. Anyway you’re not alone if you feel the same. Don’t wait till your breaking point to take care of yourself.

McKinsey team - either you guys really need people or your recruitment team just very efficient. Received an email on Friday for availability, just now received an email for an interview in 1 day (well, I was dumb too for giving availability this week). This is round 2 interview. Excited and freaking out at the same time.

Hi All, I am in the midst of a public trust MBI rn. I got an EOD so I can start working on my project. I've heard if you fail a clearance it's nbd, because they can just put you on a project that requires a trust. My question is what if you fail to get a trust? Are there government projects that don't require any clearance? Also, would I be able to attempt to move to commercial in a case like this?

Best domestic beach getaway from NYC? Willing to fly, just not sure where to, as I’m new to the Southeast beach scene and don’t know what’s best for a long weekend in February. What are your Marriott resort recommendations? Don’t need anything fancy - just quiet area, clean rooms, nice beach setup, and safe ☺️
