Don‘t add her. I tell my friends or colleagues that I am on IG to see a very particular type of pictures, and I am peculiar about what type of content I see. My go-to line is „That I‘d much rather send you a text and go for a drink than follow you on IG“ Bottom line: social media is f*cked up enough. Make it a safe space as much as you can. Having a noisy and anxiously attached colleague on there is nowhere safe for you.

@KAM1 - read it and responded 💪✊ @Newco1 I am extremely active on insta, so don't think she would buy that

If she asked about your Instagram and your coworkers called you out, you might want to consider the conversations they are having when you aren’t around. She may have asked about it for a reason. Just food for thought! (dramatic girls are the worst though, sorry this is happening at work. Ain’t nobody got time for that)

what!!! that's a no! haha stop playinnggg need your advise for real 😩😩

She’ll get over it. Don’t feel guilted onto something you don’t want to do.

like

She feels singled out then. Need to promote an inclusive environment. You should try and find a way to make her feel included on the project or through another mean and probably something that can be called out in front of others since she was singled out in front of the team at lunch.

like

She singled me out during lunch - and brought up this convo, I didn't do anything at all to start it. then she asked me "what's your insta! I want to add you" 😩

I'm the same. Just tell her that you don't add any coworkers on social media. If you said nothing, I can see how she would feel like this was a snub. If you tell her and she doesn't accept it, that's on her. It's not unusual to want to keep work and personal separate.

like

thanks for your input all. truly appreciated. I believe it's my right to be able to add other colleagues, and just because I don't connect with her doesn't mean I should just add her to be inclusive. because she put me on the spot, fine I did it. given that, she is still choosing to give me the cold shoulder & pout. dont rly know how to move this situation along 😣 rly having second thoughts and feeling like removing her 😩

99% sure I'm gonna unfollow her in the next 5 minutes.

You gotta learn to have thicker skin. You are right that you don’t have to open your social media to anyone you don’t want. You already made your decision, now ignore her.

Advice needed-I’m 30 weeks pregnant and constantly getting dumped on at work (in industry now). I’m high risk (gestational diabetes & hypertension) and have been clear with my all male management team that I’m high risk. Still, they are steady trying to pull me into new projects while I’m actively leading one of the most high profile projects in the org. From a career standpoint, I appreciate it, but I cannot physically keep up the way I used to and feel like I’m risking my and my baby’s health.

Hi moms. I’m looking for tips for transitioning my baby from slow flow nipple to medium flow nipple. She is 12 weeks old, a few days short of 3 month. We thought she was ready for medium flow nipples a week ago and started using them. But there were a good amount of spill (any amount of breast milk wasted makes me 😞; there were more milk in her mouth than she can swallow, and milk end up overflowing out of her mouth). And she threw up most of the milk after one night feeding.

Might be a paranoid mom question - my 16 month old is starting daycare next week. So far, I’ve had virtual interviews/meet and greet sessions with the daycare staff. Today we went in for our in-person orientation and I noticed that my child is the only non-white kid in his class of 8. Not entirely shocking, but in my head (and having seen pictures in their catalog) I was hoping there would be a little more diversity. Should I be worried about my kid feeling left out because he looks different?

Hey mommas - My baby is 14 weeks old and I haven't gotten my period back yet. I'm worried I'm pregnant again. When did you get your period back? For context, I'm breastfeeding but not exclusively (I am pumping and nursing as much as I can though). I've been on the pill since 6 weeks and my husband used condoms for the first few weeks once we started again. Surprisingly, I can't find anything online that's helpful. Any sense of a timeframe would be tremendously anxiety-reducing!
