I left GBO due to: - lower TC compared to other FAANG+ offers I was getting - little to no growth in career, despite multiple EE/SEE ratings - absolutely no leeway to move out of the Bay

I was in a non-tech (GBO) role and left several years ago to pursue opportunities in my local area, since opportunities for advancement at the time (in GBO) were primarily in MTV, NYC, & CHI. I was also tired of the musical chairs of re-orgs and new managers, which limited my ability to get promoted compared to others whose managers were more tenured and stable and had more clout in calibrations & promotions discussions.

When your flight is delayed by ~30 mins, every 30 mins, for just under 4 hours. Not enough for flight delay compensation to kick in. Feels like a consultant's strategy.
