How are agencies in Germany doing right now? Any layoffs or pay cuts?

All of these layoffs are revving up my anxiety, making me question my job security, and I think it's getting to the point where my anxiety attacks are making me sick again.

I was recently just laid off due to COVID, late in the game but saw it coming!
Looking for advice on how to make the best use of my time as I look for jobs and prepare myself for the uncertain time.

Anyone else tired of having to work so hard to get where you are, only to realize you will be the first one laid off because you aren’t in the “sorority.” Watching it happen is filling me with anxiety

I was very successful as an internaional sales exec at a startup for 15 years before we were bought by a large publicly traded company. The culture shift was dramatic, as was the way that I was expected to work. I was laid off a tortuous 3 years after the buyout.

While I was in some ways relieved (put me out of my misery!) I spiralled pretty hard and after a while started working PT jobs, gig type stuff, etc. while I figured things out, and healed from burnout.

Hi Folks, I am planning to join Oracle Bangalore location by end of this month, lately there are many posts stating layoffs in Oracle, so should I be avoiding to join Oracle at this point and try to look for other companies?

How stable is Mastercard? I have an offer from them and a food beverage company and my interest is definitely in mastercard but concerned about layoffs.
TC for both is 126k exactly so can’t base it off that either. I’m definitely way more interested in the tech space but like I said this economy is worrisome and I know food and beverage are the last to be affected.

I was informed today that my employment would be terminated at a tier-2 consulting firm in Toronto. The reasons for my dismissal are unclear and I would like to get legal advice on the termination agreement and severance package that was offered. Has anyone experienced a similar situation and can refer a good employment lawyer?

What is lowest acceptable salary for being promoted to executive digital producer in NYC?

I'm a solo bringing in Associate to become partner. Associate has been compensated with a base salary, plus 1/3 of earnings for business he brings in. Firm expenses are around 55-60% of gross revenue. He brings in around 30% of revenue. How best can I bring him in, and at what percentage to be fair? Was thinking 20%, with 5% incremental increases as his business grows hopefully to greater than 30% of total revenue. Thoughts?

I became a 2 year lawyer in September. I started working at my firm, a mid-sized firm practicing commercial business litigation and PI, in March of 2020. Last year I made the firm $180k from my billable hours and I was paid $85k + full health and other benefits.

This year, I'm on track to make about $150k and to make the firm about $450k from my billable hours and PI cases that I originated and settled.

Trying to do right for my firm. I'm treated well.
