Audit recruiter told me if I don’t take M&A Consulting internship with EY next year she can guarantee me an IB interview with Deloitte for next year after interning in audit. She says I could possibly pivot to entry-level IB after interning for audit and interviewing for IB, does that sound possible or should I get experience from EY first?

Stern is way more than a finance school. Given its location, do you want to spend your 2 years in a rural area or heart of Manhattan? Location is almost everything for business school. (I have a friend in Cornell that frequently travels about 5 hours to NYC for events.)

Finally landed a summer internship. To the 1Y fish still grinding, don’t lose hope!

I’m a designer in the planning/landscape architecture dept. of a CE firm. Extremely frustrated that after 4+ years and multiple asks, I’m not getting the in-field construction experience I’ve asked for. I know that my designs could be better if I could see how things are actually built but I get slapped in the face with “I need you in the office designing/drafting” or “there’s no budget to have you go out” and then sends an intern to inspect instead. I’m 5 yrs out of college. Any advice?

I currently work as intern in one of the big 4, now I got an opportunity In deloitte with a package of 7.6l lpa (6l fixed, 1l joining ,bonus & 60k variable) for the same job role. it is through cmpus placement & recruiting us as freshers. I do have another 3 yrs of experience but it was for other role. considering the experience that i have ,is there any chance for me to negotiate in the salary?

About to graduate, looking over my options within political advocacy/gov relations positions… I have one campaign under my belt and have worked under two reps at the statehouse. Its difficult to narrow my search and find which jobs I’m eligible for.
