32, 4, actually haven’t looked at my retirement account in a while oop, $150k, $95k (finally under six figures of debt, yay!)

Edit: also, if anyone has any easy tips for investments, I’m all ears. I don’t even know how to begin with that stuff.

LC1 - thoughts on VFIAX? would you say to get both VFIAX and VSTAX or do you think that’s unnecessary?

3. No idea about retirement - I’ve max out my 401k each year so prob $80k? But yeah guessing lol. Have another $20k invested in ETFs.
4. $40k in checking. Trying to keep things liquid because I might buy an apartment this summer if/when I need to return to in-person work in NYC.
5. $140k in debt. If I don’t buy if/when I move back to NYC, I will prob pay off $90k this summer and then slowly chip away at the rest. (I refinanced at 2.95 when I had $290k 3 years ago.)

In last two years , I saw two people who are experienced and told like HCl released offer. On joining date, they are asking to wait for couple of weeks.

One of my friend joined after three months from his joining date.( One year ago)
and one more friend just waiting for couple of weeks(currently).

Not sure, if this is happening for other companies too.. just thought, Incase people has one offer and trying to switch would badly affected without salary in this case..
