I currently have a Chase Sapphire Preferred (my only personal credit card). Thinking of getting a United Explorer Card for the 70K miles. Doing home improvement work and will def be able to meet the minimum expense limit. Worth it to get this card? Better off getting something else?
Former Accenture to Deloitte or Deloitte to Accenture folks. At Deloitte, we’re pretty lenient on what we can get away with expense wise. How does the expense policy at Accenture compare?

I’m a prospective UBS employee. I was told by the recruiter that bank doesn’t provide physical machines to employees and that we need to use our personal computer for office work. 1. Is the above stated info correct? 2. Does the bank reimburse laptop cost, if I don’t have a personal laptop/computer? 3. Is macOS compatible?
New hire question - if I didn't submit expenses before that expense cut off date is there any bad consequence?

Does anybody else wish that the Firm just gave a per diem for travel and meals as opposed to just an Amex allowance. I never even come close to the $100 a day allowance when traveling.

I should have trusted in you earlier than I did Cathie Wood. Should have purchased a lot more ARKK earlier this year, but hesitated because of the expense ratio. But over the past few weeks, I realize that this actually fits well out into what I'm aiming for in my taxable investment portfolio in terms of allocation.
Anyone at Guidehouse know if they reimburse CPE required for certifications? Such as for CPA, etc. as well as any membership fees?
What's the worst expense horror stories you've heard? I've read enough about getting away w/ expensing stuff you shouldn't. But I am curious about the other outcomes.
Me and my husband have about 70k saved. Our monthly expense is around 2k . No debts. Monthly income is around 13k. Is buying a house worth 1 million too risky ?
Did Deloitte have a late-night Uber policy before the pandemic? Joining in a month and also moving and wondering how much I should consider it. For context, my current company had a policy pre-pandemic where we could Uber home every time we worked after 7PM and we could expense meals as well during those days.
What is the consulting manager salary? 🐟

Planning to visit India later this year, and also need to get my visa stamped (current stamp expired in 2016). I have an I-797 number from the approved extension, and another one from an amendment...
I was probably just too open and honest when our company shared our feelings about how COVID-19 will change the world. They were optimistic, while I came off as pessimistic.

Anyone here quit without a job offer and can share stories. I know it’s a waste of everyone’s time and am seriously considering just leaving.
Nearing the two year mark at EY and am considering starting to prepare for MBA apps. Have had rewarding experiences with great teams so far at the firm but would love to challenge myself a bit more...

Given all the recent buzz about expected large raises around the big 4, I’d like to level set on the average salary for a 4th/5th year female senior manager in federal tax ( credits & methods group) in the Midwest - Chicago/Minneapolis/Detroit market. Anyone willing to share a range if they work in a similar area of tax / similar level? I recognize all groups vary greatly in salary expectations, so looking for input specific to my area. Current expectations set at 140-160k. Reasonable?

Our office is moving to another building and is going to have a new “no assigned desk” policy. We just sit wherever we feel like sitting, like a 7th-grade cafeteria. Seems like their intention is good but also sounds like a terrible idea. Has anyone else’s office done this? Not even sure how I’ll be able to request a second monitor now
