Yesterday I couldn’t get out of bed and told work I wasn’t feeling well and would be working from home. I just really didn’t want to be around people and feeling pretty down. Today is no better...

...but I forced myself to go into work, even though i am still feeling low. Everyone keeps asking if I’m feeling better, assuming I had a cold or something, I just keep saying I’m fine. But I’m not. I know this is just a weird funk that happens sometimes with depression but I haven’t had one in so long I don’t know how to get out of it. Worst part is my therapist is out of town this week. I don’t know how to get my mood up, I’ve been looking at puppy instas but even that’s not doing it.... I hate being so sad for no reason that I just want to cry all day.


Thanks for letting me vent a little. Just needed to share my feelings for a moment. 💜

I’m sorry you’re feeling this way. I felt the exact same way yesterday (and a bit last week/still today). I’m pretty sure Seasonal Affective Disorder is the culprit for me.

Last night I went out and did something that always makes me happy: dinner, drinks, & a concert.
This morning I used our SAD lamp and took CBD.
Tonight I’m going to the gym.

I feel a tad better, hopefully will feel even better after the gym.
My point though is see if you can make any little changes that can help improve your feelings. Way easier said than done! Hopefully your feelings can turn around soon

Have you tried any meds? Not to say it’s the only solution or that it’s a decision to be taken lightly.

Maybe you can find a friend w a real puppy to cheer you up a lil

I have 3.2year experience before salary negotiation hr told me calling you regarding offer letter release matter issue next day he called me and said we cannot pay 10 lakh,we can pay 8.5 lakh as per tcs standard & asked me if u haveother offer,I said I have another offer of 9 lakh from mid sized company I said by any chance you can give 9.0 he said send offer i will take approval from my lead and release offer next day but it been 3 days i didn't got will he drop my candidature or get back to me

My joining in Accenture is on 19th December and I got selected in TCS also. But TCS HR is saying that offer rollout is now frozen till 31st December and it will open on 2nd January,2023 and then he will immediately send the offer letter. He has given guarantee for that. Double murder home invasion two houses down on my street tonight in BK. When it happened I'd just gotten home from pizza place and was stuffing my entitled Netflix watching face. Broad daylight and just like that two innocent people taken down in their own home. Fat unhealthy looking cops show up waddling around and ambulance moved like snails. 4 hours later and they're still out there...searching for clues.
