Yesterday my wife received HR calls from Google Fiber and Google. She has HR call for Revenue Reporting Data Analyst this week with Google and next week for Technical Solutions Consultant with Fiber. She is an expert in SQL, data modelling and developing KPIs & BI dashboards in Looker, Tableau, Power BI and Redash. What can be expected in the HR calls? And past that call, how would interview calls proceed for DA jobs in Google? Thanks!

If you have to pay back a sign on bonus do you get back the withholding on it when you file your tax returns? For instance if the sign on bonus is 10k, there si withholding on that. So you actually receive 6k (assumption). But if you leave the company you pay back 10k no? How do you get the 4k back?

Thinking of turning down a Google offer. 15 YO overall (5 year PgM exp), been a TVC at Google for 2 years doing the role I interviewed for (no direct conversation anymore, so I went though the full interview process). I got leveled at L4 (guessing interviews didn’t go that well) and the comp has been a bit underwhelming. WDYT fishes?
