RBC vs Neo financial ? For a data engineering position which company is better in terms of work- life balance and career growth .

I've had a few interviews and made it to the final round for 2 roles but have not been selected either time. Since companies don't give feedback anymore it's hard to know if I did not perform as well as I thought during an interview or if the other candidates were just better fits.

They wanted to do a phone call immediately/right then. I said my availability is tomorrow or the next day. I asked for company name, but responded saying they can’t share the count details before the phone call. Am I getting scammed or is this common practice with agencies?

I'm interviewing for Sr Product Design positions & each interview is 30 minutes to share 2 case studies. With only 12 min/case study (I eat up some time introducing myself & setting up the work), does anyone have advice on what to make sure I show? It's so hard to hit all the points they I'm trying to hit: problem definition through user research, wireframes, design exploration, usability tests, prototypes, final designs, red lines, engineering handoff, KPIs. Any advice or examples?

I cleared two rounds in a product company. I had to follow up everytime for interview scheduling. For third round, it's still pending and they say onshore panel not available and no update. Another hr from same company also asks if you would join. I don't understand . Why I have to follow up to schedule my interviews? Is this how it works?

Having tough time deciding between IB & Consulting. My thought process: I have a "better" background for IB (TAS/valuation) and with tech layoffs, this might push more potential would-be tech applications to pursue consulting (there by increased competition)? Additionally, you can do IB intern and full time consulting but not vice versa. I prefer consulting, but IB seems like the "safer" option? And if consulting does get hit hard, I would hopefully have a full time IB offer via internship.

Advice: how to manage a reapplication as a R3 applicant who was waitlisted and finally dinged last week. I want to apply R1 to the same school (feel like this shows commitment) and I have an improved GRE score but otherwise not much in my profile has materially changed since it’s only been 3-4 months since I last applied... I will have 1 different recommender and 1 of 2 essays will be revamped. How else should I approach this? Anything I’m missing?
