Just be a grown up and let your computer go to idle. Chances are people won't care.

Open a picture, video or audio file in Media Player. Set it to repeat, then minimize (and mute).

Works everytime. Helpful when I am using a client issued laptop, so I can see emails as they come in on my company laptop.

I have a different approach. Does anyone remember analog watches? Connect the laptop using an external mouse (wired or wireless), and keep the laser thing on the top of mouse on the top of the analog wrist watch. Since the seconds hand keeps moving, it triggers the mouse and Voila, you are now always active on Skype!

Hi Fishes, I need some help.
So I've got the offer letter from Genpact today, but I have to send the required docs and BGV should happen and then in 3-4 days they might send Joining/Appointment letter.
So my doubt is, shall I inform the current Consultancy that I'm rejecting their offer? Or shall I wait till I get the appointment letter from Genpact and then inform the consultancy?
It's already been 15+ days since I've joined the company via consultancy.
PS: I have just joined on 3rd Feb on C2H
