Can’t believe how many people are willing to give benefit of the doubt to the giant corporate legal team over this person who felt so helpless in her available channels she went to a full company email blast… Like come on, it’s a very believable story unless your privilege boosts your ego.

100% real- they deleted it from our inboxes last night/this morning and there have been no comms from leadership other than “call ethics if you have concerns”

I wouldnt call it sketchy per se - but it’s def. a bad look if true. Lol why would they do that. Childish, and if anything, indicates a guilty conscience.

What company is the employee headed to?

like

Lol people have been talking about it.

Well I guess I’m late to the party lol

Very real!

How does this still make the news? This is BIG4's modus operandi. Was anyone under the impression it has changed or that they are actively trying to change it?

Situation : A sped student has an accomodation in their IEP to ride the SPED bus. However, the student and his brother have been refusing to get on the bus and get violent towards anybody trying to put them on the bus. They hit kick and spit on the driver and the assistant when getting strapped into the bus. According to the student handbook they should be suspended because of their actions. Question: should the students be suspended or does their legal accomodation supercede district policy.

How much do partners and senior managers in NYC make during their first years roughly at EY. This is in reference to Advisory practices like cyber and PI. Also how is the bonus per year calculated?

like

Do all partners at same level get paid the same? I would imagine that the bonus based on sales + additional factors based on how the firm/practice/domain/sub-domain is doing accounts for the variable pay on top. Just curious as to how the constant aspect of the salary works when in partnership.

I need advice :( ... my new roomate is not clean ( doesnt take out trash/ leaves kitchen counter dirty sometimes/ leaves shoes in the middle of common space)... she told me she was really clean during interview so i believed her. Im having a conversation with her tonight to come up with rules. If this doesnt resolve i plan on moving out. Do you think i should take a one bedroom for 2k or stick it out to july 2021 for 1k per month. Losing 1 k savings towards a house. Helpppp

Art director presents idea we were both tasked to do. The entire concept is mostly my idea, and has a key element that she did not like and almost refused to add. I basically pushed her to add it. It’s that part that the client actually loved, and when the meeting ended, everyone thanked her and congratulated her, and she said “thanks”without giving me a mention. Even our cd and account folks. Should i let it go?

Staffed on a project, where I am responsible for QA the tickets and there's no defined criteria; Also I don't have much background (because I am staffed during the middle of the project). Almost everyday, my boss would ping me and challenge why certain people created the request and I did not catch the rationale/gather all the information. I HATE this type of work as I think it's not adding any value to my portfolio. Now I received an Industry offer, jump??

I am a clinical mental health counselor and a credentialed alcohol and substance abuse counselor and am ready to graduate Emory law in 2 weeks with my Juris Master in Health Care Law.

I had a really bad boss at my last job. I don’t want to work for a boss like him ever again. How do I talk about that in interviews? I don’t want to come off as a shit-talker, but I want to be transparent about my experiences and why it’s a blessing I no longer work where I did, and what I’m hoping for at my next place of business. Any advice?

HR keeps trying to paper me up with speed to output crap because they think I’m sick, but the reality is that I’m terminal and probably won’t be around to see the end of this. God I hope they don’t pretend to put up a caring memorial when I’m gone.
