Trying not to be reactive here until my doctor calls, but… obviously can’t help it. My blood test today (28w) came back with results that are worrying me. My RBC and HCT are low (below the standard range) which would indicate slight anemia, but ferritin came back totally normal. This alone wouldn’t cause me too much concern, except that I have counts for NRBC, which seems like a bigger problem. Has anyone else gone through this?

Color me crazy, but do you think the pandemic changes the requirements on what it takes to be “successful” in our profession? For example, since everything is virtual now, I feel like the people who have less social skills can get by easily since we’re not in person. Over the last 12 months my role changed significantlu so in Jan I approached the CEO about a raise and promotion more in line with my work and he said yes - but not until until the end of Q1 when budgets are finalized. Covid hit and I was told all promotions and raises were put on hold. I never got a Q2 review bc my manager said the raise was up in the air still. But on Friday the CEO sent an email listing 17 promotions, not including me. Im meeting w my manager tomorrow but idk what to say.
