Hi all,
I need your suggestion. Earlier, I had offer letters from KPMG and EY, but due to compensation issues, I joined KPMG Also, the EY hr didn't show much interest. So, I didn't join.
But, here in KPMG, I am on bench since long. I am planning to take interview for EY again as I can see similar job openings again.
Can someone suggest me if EY consider me again as I once rejected it's offer. Also, hearing the recession rumours, is it good time to switch again?
Any inputs will be helpful.
Hi
I have been interviewed by Google, the final interview happened 3 weeks back. The feedback I received from them is positive and they are saying that they are in process to release my offer just due to economic issues, its getting delayed in receiving approval for the requisition.
Every week they are saying next week.
Is this really common? Should I wait like this indefinitely or am I doing some mistake?
YOE-4
Thanks

Recruiters are like real estate agents, they struggle to keep up with multiple clients/candidates and turn into burnt out robots
I don’t understand why 4 paragraphs was necessary. I’m sure there is a MUCH shorter way to say “thank your for your interest in this position, unfortunately we have already selected our pool of candidates to move through the interview process”

Once they source candidates they usually run them past the hiring manager. You didn't make the cut based solely on your LinkedIn. It just means the recruiter didn't do a great job reviewing your LinkedIn before reaching out.

Why no one cares about recruiters anymore. This job market surely didn’t. Every post is from a recruiter or talent acquisition person.
It's just a form letter rejection. I wouldn't read anything into it. Quite possibly they already accepted a candidate before they even got to you and just sent out the same rejection to everyone.

And this is the problem. Recruiters just throw anything at a wall and see what sticks. Probably why every lay off post is a recruiter who has 6 months or less at every job before. What a terrible industry from top to bottom.

Jeez, some people are just lazy.
